Understanding Fuel Energy

"The Little Book of Energy" makes clear how fossil fuels, natural gas, coal, and alternative energies relate to people in easy-to-understand terms. How efficient each is, how much pollution of what type each does or doesn't cause, and how long the earth can supply each of them all help to decide what might be the best course of action for individuals, industry, and government. The book's subtitle: "Understanding Global Energy Consumption" is very accurate. Most attempts to explain how each energy source relates to each other and the individual create confusion rather than clarity. "The Little Book of Energy" is very clear, very readable, understandable, written by someone who knows the subject, and has no hidden agenda.

Read this if you want to understand energy

For anyone really interested in understanding the energy story, this is a must-read book written by a person who understands the scientific data and has no personal agenda. He's not a government scientist nor is he on the payroll of any corporation. He's just a person who wants the general public to have a source of accurate information. Complex issues are presented logically and clearly so anyone can follow the trail of scientific evidence. Facts and figures are included but not in an overwhelming way. At the end he presents an optimistic view of the future, but only if the world shifts in a certain way.
