This is how you write a debut book

The authors' knowledge of archaeology, historic art and Native American sites was evident through the book. The story which starts off in 1952 is like one large jigsaw puzzle that takes the course of the book to piece together before finally seeing the whole picture.
Erica Kesling didn't have an easy childhood after her father died. Her credit ruined and blackballed from being able to use her degree in underwater archaeologist she now works for a large company on a different coast as a land archeologist looking for a way to make those pay who had a part in setting her up. From here the author takes us on a journey that arouses your curiosity as to what is really going on. Its full of crafty plotting and intrigues throughout.
There were a few loose ends that I am hoping will be wrapped up in future books but this reader is happy to have found a new romantic suspense author and I look forward to more books from her.

Concrete Evidence is a Heavy Hitter

From the opening scene the thrills and chills drew me in. I love the smart, sexy heroine, Erica. As for the hero, Lee, all I can say is I'm a sucker for brainiacs with pecs. The secret life of archeologists is deftly woven into the plot, and a look at this fascinating world is a treat you won't find in many books. I can honestly say I did NOT see the twists and turns coming, and they kept me reading late into the night. This is one of the best romantic thrillers I've read...ever. Grant's plot is tightly woven, unpredictable and stands with the best. I admit that I love intellectual thrillers and this is one of them!

Archeology, Romance and Suspense...Need I Say More?

High stakes, fast paced and the kind of in-depth knowledge of ancient artifacts only an honest-to-goodness archeologist would know. I was amazed to learn that Grant's most unique subplots are actually ripped right from history. The romance between Erica and Lee has that gripping, heart-in-your throat tension. Both are motivated by goals that may destroy the other, which keeps you reading FAR into the night! This is a stellar introduction to a very talented debut author. Highly recommended read.
