A clear "must have" for anyone new to the pcDuino3

The title calls this "getting started", which is what you get. Pretty much a "must have" for the person who has received their first pcDuino3 and is anxious to have a guide to getting started. Given the price of the book and the title, one shouldn't expect a great deal of material. The grammar is awkward in places, but the meaning will be eventually clear. My biggest issue is the inconsistency of the font sizes relative to the graphics. It is a small nuisance, but something a publisher really should know better. I read fiction novels on my Kindle, but when I'm going through a technical book, I prefer to read them via my browser using the Kindle Cloud Reader, especially for the color graphics. I've purchased several technical books and been able to read them on my browser without issue; however, in the case of this book, the fonts are oddly sized; in order to read the text, I had to increase the default, which provides overly large headings while the table of contents font is still extremely tiny. Some of the command line screen shots are tough to read (too small) while some of the GUI shots are overly large and therefore overdone. Again, for the new owner of a pcDuino3, a definite addition to your library.

Good intro to pcDuino and great value

When I read the reviews for this book I was cautious of buying it. I looked around and found that there are very few books on the pcDuino so I threw caution to the wind and invested the asking price of $3.99 and bought the Kindle version. Ok so the English isn't brilliant but then again it's easy to understand. When all is said and done this is an intro and reference for a motherboard, it doesn't need to have perfect gramar. It provides information which is specific to the pcDuino and for those wishing to delve deeper then there's plenty of information on the web and in other books for the OS and Arduino.
I'm glad i bought this book and if you're starting out with the pcDuino you're very likely to find this book useful too.

worth reading

Like the author's other books this one is small and simple and easy to read.I gave it 5 stars because there are MANY pictures of screens and the book appears to give all the information to get started with this board.It is also inexpensive enough to be worth more than the price you paid to get this very detailed information.I am now a fan.
